A new year means new prices.

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines ended 2022 by not implementing a price adjustment on its model lineup. But as the new year comes in, Mitsubishi joined the list of car brands that have adjusted their model pricing.

Majority of the price updates are from the Strada's variant lineup

To put things in perspective, Honda Cars Philippines have adjusted the sticker prices of almost all of its model lineup. Unlike Honda, Mitsubishi is currently limiting its own price changes gradually, which can be seen on select Montero Sport, and Strada variants.

So for your benefit, here are the Montero Sport and Strada variants that were slapped on with a price increase effective this January 2023.

The price adjustments for the Montero Sport and Strada variants listed above were taken from Mitsubishi Philippines’ official website.

As one can see from the list, the GLS 4x4 and the GLS Ralliart were spared from the price updates. Within the Montero Sport variant lineup, only the GT Black Series saw an increase in price. The rest of the locally available Mitsubishi models are yet to see a price update as well.

The variants with the highest price increase are the Strada GLS at Php 27,000. On the other side of the spectrum, the Strada Athlete trims’ prices only increased by Php 9,000.

Why the price increase? Well, there are many factors that contribute to this. There’s the usual rise in inflation rates, and the performance of the Philippine Peso, among other factors. But, Mitsubishi PH has yet to release a statement regarding the price updates.
