Mini gives more reasons for customers to make the switch to sustainable mobility, as it presents a new Multitone Edition for its Mini Electric model, limited to just 200 units in the U.K.
The battery-powered Mini now comes in a new limited-edition color
The Multitone Edition exclusively carries the Sage Green Metallic hue, previously offered only on the Mini Countryman. It brings a special look made possible by an innovative wet-on-wet painting process implemented by Mini’s Oxford plant. A Spray Tech finish applies three color shades directly on top of each other, and the finished product results in deviations within the color pattern, making each example unique.
An edition-exclusive multitone roof design, comprising Aspen White that transitions through Melting Silver II before finally settling on Jet Black. This is accompanied by an abstract white rainbow, which is also a design motif present elsewhere throughout the car.
The Mini badge and headlamp surrounds are offered in white for the first time
The C-pillar features a graphic rainbow motif rendered in Indian Summer Red and Sage Green, complemented by matching graphics on the side scuttle and door sills. Headlamps are surrounded in white trim, flanking a white Mini badge. A set of 17-inch two-tone Scissor Spoke alloys are included, with exclusive self-leveling wheel caps.
Customers will find the exterior motif applied to the interior as well, with Mini logos on the steering wheel, floor mats, and sun visors. As a Mini Electric Level 2 release, the Multitone Edition comes with heated front sports seats, automatic dual zone climate control, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The quirky little details extend to the cabin as well
An 8.8-inch touchscreen display at the center of the dashboard offers Apple CarPlay and Mini navigation system. Safety and convenience features include cruise control, Mini Driving Modes, automatic headlamp activation in concert with rain sensors, rear view camera, and parking distance control.
As a finishing touch, owners will be given a 3D printed key car, also rendered in Sage Green. The new Mini Electric Multitone Edition is available to order from U.K. dealerships for £33,200 (Php 2.18 million).
