It is indeed an all-around truck.

A vehicle can be more than just a moving machine on wheels that will help you get from point A to point B faster and more comfortably. In the story of Nino Sinco and his Maxus T60, the pickup truck also provides a means of transportation for Sinco’s goods to keep his part-time business alive and kicking.

Nino Sinco in his Maxus T60

Nino Sinco is a retired University lecturer, and now a part-time businessman and archery coach. He bought a Maxus T60 last October 2020 primarily to haul his cargo for his part-time business and archery equipment.

When he was asked to describe the truck, the retired University lecturer shared he is impressed with its versatility, toughness, and ease of driving “considering its body weight and its engine efficiency,” he observed. The T60’s spacious cargo bed is also a feature that Sinco maximizes whenever and whenever he needs it.

Under the hood, the Maxus T60 is powered by a 2.8-liter 4-cylinder turbodiesel engine with a Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). It is capable of generating 150 hp and 360 Nm of torque. With these numbers in mind, the T60 should be more than enough for Sinco’s daily mobility needs.

An all-around vehicle

The part-time businessman is so ecstatic about the performance capabilities of his truck that he is considering buying another one for his daughter, saying, “for my daughter’s pet shop business.” Nino and his daughter share that owning an all-around light commercial vehicle can be driven for both personal and business use.

For more convenient car ownership, Maxus Philippines is offering its T60 pickup truck with a handful of after-sales services and programs including a 5-year warranty (or 100,000 km whichever comes first), once in a year preventive maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule, and 24/7 Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA).

The story of Nino Sinco with his Maxus T60 is not the first time an owner of the truck was satisfied with its capabilities. Recently, a farmer named Arcie Sumayao, a Manila-based entrepreneur, expressed his admiration for the British-branded Chinese pickup truck saying as it is used both as a utility and family car.
