As mentioned, Verstappen’s win gave Honda its first F1 world championship since Ayrton Senna in 1991. The win is the perfect way to cap off Honda’s journey in F1 as it bids goodbye once again to the sport after making its comeback in 2015. From 2015 to 2021, Honda won 17 of 141 races with 13 poles and 49 podium finishes.
