Isuzu Philippines, Inc. (IPC) successfully turned over 98 brand-new Isuzu Traviz units to the City Government of Zamboanga to further strengthen the region’s response team during emergencies and calamities.
New emergency response vehicles of Zamboanga City
The Isuzu Traviz is the Japanese automaker’s entry into the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market. It will be used by the City Government under its Barangay Emergency Group program. Among the factors as to why the model was considered were the competitive pricing and fuel-efficient powertrain.
So much so that the Automobile Association Philippines (AAP) reported that the Traviz can travel up to 1,000 km in just one full tank. This factor is a relevant characteristic to have in a vehicle considering the surging fuel prices. The average price of gasoline is now closing in at Php 100 after another round of a fuel price spike this week.
A successful turnover ceremony
The fuel efficiency is delivered by the LCV’s 2.5-liter 4JA1 Blue Power diesel engine with 77 horsepower and 176 Nm of torque. It is paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission. Response teams in Zamboanga can also benefit from the vehicle’s payload capacity rated at 1.6 tons.
Furthermore, the 98 brand-new units contributed to the Isuzu Traviz’s recent accomplishment of reaching its 10,000-sales milestone. As part of the celebration, the company is offering a series of promos under the “10K Thank You Treat.” Here is the list of deals as per IPC:
- 10,000 liters worth of fuel to be raffled off to 500 customers nationwide who will purchase or reserve a Traviz unit.'
- Php 10,000 cash Traviz referral bonus on top of the existing Php 10,000 referral fee that IPC is already offering for both existing and potential customers.
- 10-percent discount on Labor and Parts for any Periodic Maintenance Service (PMS) and/or general job with free 1-liter Isuzu Genuine Motor Oil XTRM.
