Isuzu Philippines renewed its partnership with JZGMSAT
The partnership aims to strengthen the school’s educational programs, particularly in the field of powertrains. It covers topics such as Diesel Engine Technology, Common Rail Fuel System, and Engine Management System.
The recent MOA signing also saw the turnover of a new four-post lifter with a wheel aligner and one Isuzu D-Max unit to TESDA CALABARZON Regional Director Baron Jose Lagran and JZGMSAT Vocational School Administrator Benito Reyes.
With the turned-over pickup truck, students should learn more about the inner workings of a diesel engine. As standard, the D-Max runs on diesel albeit two power units are offered in the market – a 148-horsepower 1.9-liter RZ4E-TC and a 187-horsepower 3.0-liter 4JJ3-TCX.

The partnership started in 2017, and the recent turnovers included desktop computers, mock-up diesel engines, and two automotive lifters to the school.
“It’s been six years since we started this partnership, and the continuous collaboration between IPC and JZGMSAT says a lot about the importance and sustainability of this program,” said IPC President Tetsuya Fujita.
“We are very thankful to Isuzu Philippines for their continuous support to [our] vocational school. The equipment and technical training that they provide to us are all very beneficial in improving the competency of our trainees. This will truly help them in their practical classes and prepare them for real-world scenarios,” said Reyes.
The Japanese automaker continues to support educational programs
IPC has conducted several CSR (corporate social responsibility) activities nationwide over the years. For 2023 alone, the company is constructing a shelter home for outpatient children in Quezon City, presented 16 graduates of the TESDA Auto Serving NC4 Course, and donated Php 250,000 to the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI).
