The two models are available for viewing at Hyundai Quezon Avenue.

As Hyundai reboots its presence in the country through Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH), the brand is practically starting on a clean slate, with a mostly fresh lineup led by the all-new Tucson and Staria that can now be pre-ordered.

The all-new Tucson will bring its Parametric Pixel design to the local market

In a Facebook post, Hyundai Quezon Avenue posted the suggested retail prices for the refreshed Hyundai passenger car range:

  • Tucson compact crossover – Php 1,570,000
  • Staria MPV – Php 1,560,000 (Cargo variant)
  • Santa Fe midsize crossover – Php 2,420,000
  • Creta subcompact crossover – Php 998,000

Notably missing from the roster are the Venue and the Palisade, which have been retained from the previous lineup and will be sold in their updated versions. It’s likely that HMPH is still finalizing the pricing and trim levels for both models, especially since they will be joining the Creta and the Santa Fe in the subcompact and midsize categories, respectively.

Pricing for the Staria starts with the Cargo variant

There has also been no hint so far of the rumored Stargazer, touted to be a smaller version of the Staria. As several teaser photos of the upcoming MPV were recently released online, Hyundai will reportedly field the Stargazer as its challenger against the likes of the Toyota Avanza, Mitsubishi Xpander, Suzuki Ertiga, and Honda BR-V.

It looks like HMPH will be focusing on crossovers and MPVs for now, as the Accent and Reina from the previous Hyundai Philippines are no longer included. The new distributorship previously said that they will be focused on sourcing vehicles from both South Korea and Indonesia, which leaves the China-made Reina by the wayside.

The Creta returns after its short-lived maiden stint in the Philippines

Meanwhile, the Accent is on its way out from the global market by next year due to increased market demand for SUVs. Hyundai says that it will still offer sedans in other markets through the Elantra and Sonata, although there are no updates whether these will be sold here as well.

Hyundai Quezon Avenue invites customers to visit its branch to see the refreshed Hyundai lineup in the metal.
