Hyundai Global has just released a detailed report on its 2022 global sales, as well as its goals for 2023. In detailing its future plans, the brand mentioned releasing new models in the “coming months.” This includes the all-new, next-generation Santa Fe.
The current version of the Hyundai Santa Fe
While that sounds exciting for those looking forward to the new vehicle, do note that Hyundai is yet to provide more concrete details. However, there are rumors on the internet as to how this upcoming crossover will look like.
Most of these are pointing towards a boxier take on the Hyundai-produced model. For that matter, it resembles the currently available versions of the Ford Bronco, Land Rover Defender, among others.
Many have also guessed that it will adopt many of the current design cues that are present on available Hyundai models. For instance, its front end might look similar to the Creta. It might also pick up some design details even from the Hyundai Staria or its smaller Stargazer counterpart.
Not much is also known about its interior. But if we go by with current trends, it will be tech-heavy and minimalist.

Some reports are also pointing towards a plug-in hybrid version, but without a doubt, regular internal combustion engines will be present for most of the next-gen Santa Fe’s possible variants.
As with most speculative articles we’ve put out though, do take these with a grain of salt, and wait for more updates from Hyundai.
Another interesting takeaway from the report pertains to the other models that Hyundai says will be launched this year. These include the IONIQ 5 N high-performance EV and the all-new Kona, among others. The brand also plans to expand its market share, continue developing eco-friendly mobility, as well as optimizing production.
