Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) announced that Mr. Dave Chou is the overall winner at its Hyundai Technician Skills Championship (HTSC).

Mr. Dave Chou

While this is Chou’s first appearance and win, he has been working with Hyundai for seven years and is based at Chiongbian Group’s Hyundai Las Piñas outlet. The award recognizes not only Chou’s excellence in the field but also Hyundai’s initiative to bolster its after-sales services.

“Our local tagline ‘Innovate Everyday’ does not only focus on developing new-generation and advance Hyundai vehicles but it also serves as an inspiration for us to find new ways to improve overall car ownership experience by providing existing and soon-to-be Hyundai owners the aftersales care and expertise they deserve,” said HMPH Directing Coordinator for Aftersales Mr. Young Uk Ko.

Chou managed to best the 12 finalists at the HTSC, which took place at the NYK Sto. Tomas, Batangas, last April 14. He finished with a competition-high score of 74.20, bagging home a Php 50,000 cash prize.
