Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) decided to discontinue the Jazz hatchback to introduce the all-new City Hatchback in the local lineup. The new hatchback entry offers similar exterior design features as the new City sedan and an outstanding fuel efficiency rated at 25 km/l at an average speed of 60 to 80 km/h, according to HCPI.
Honda Jazz RS
On the other hand, it is the end of the road for the Honda Jazz in the Philippine market. But HCPI is giving interested individuals a chance to drive home the Jazz for the last time through its extended “Race to Great Deals” promo campaign. The said promo offers flexible payment schemes and cash discounts.
The “Race to Great Deals” offers the 2021 Honda Jazz 1.5 RS Navi CVT with a cash discount of Php 20,000 if interested buyers want to pay in full. Another payment option under the said promo includes a low down payment offer of Php 54,000 for the same variant only.
HCPI's July 2021 promo
With a suggested retail price of Php 1,090,000, the top-of-the-line Honda Jazz 1.5 RS Navi CVT is equipped with RS body kits that make the hatchback look sleeker and sportier on the go. These include an RS design front grille and front bumper lower grille, RS design front and rear bumpers, RS design tailgate spoiler, and 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels.
Under the hood, the Honda Jazz is powered by a 1.5-liter SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder gasoline engine as standard that produces 118 hp and 145 Nm of torque. The variant offered under the “Race to Great Deals” uses an Earth Dreams Technology continuously variable transmission (CVT).
