Personal mobility and public transportation in the country are evidently taking a toll due to the implementation of the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ).
Of course, this was implemented as a way to temporarily slow down the increasing COVID-19 cases count. However, this also means that medical workers will have a tougher time traveling to and from their respective workplaces.
For this reason, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), Honda’s automobile business unit in the Philippines, decided to lend out 18 Honda cars to various medical facilities in Laguna and Cavite. This is done to support the transportation needs of medical health workers amid the pandemic.

These Honda models were lent out to the following hospitals: New Sinai MDI Hospital and The Medical City South Luzon in Santa Rosa, Laguna; Unihealth-Southwoods Hospital and Medical Center and Perpetual Help Medical Center in Biñan, Laguna; Global Care Medical Centers in Canlubang and Cabuyao, Laguna; and Carmona Hospital and Medical Center in Carmona, Cavite.

Furthermore, HCPI has extended its ‘Great Deals, Bright Tomorrow’ promo as another way to provide Filipinos with mobility services during these trying times. The promo includes flexible payment schemes on the City, BR-V, Civic RS, and more.
“As tighter quarantine measures have been implemented once again to help control the increasing COVID-19 cases in Mega Manila, Honda would like to support the hardworking medical frontliners battling the pandemic by lending our vehicles to help ease their transportation concerns during the MECQ,” said Masahiko Nakamura, president of Honda Cars Philippines, Inc.
