More than a hundred units of Hino trucks will be delivered.

The demanding business of moving goods needs a reliable workhorse as late deliveries can be costly. For J&T Express, it entrusts its mobility with Hino Motors Philippines’ (HMP) trucks after both parties signed a deal to continue their strategic partnership.

One successful partnership renewal ceremony

Present in the signing ceremony were key officers from HMP led by its President Mr. Mitsuharu Tabata, along with J&T Express CEO Mr. Dean Ding. The new deal covers the turnover of more than a hundred units of Hino trucks including the XZU730L, XZU710L, and FL8J models.

Over 320 units of Hino trucks have been serving the e-commerce delivery company, reflecting its trust in the Japanese marque’s products. To further enhance truck ownership, Hino’s Total Support continues to be part of the partnership which aims to provide reliable after-sales services including training and technical support.

“We at Hino Motors Philippines are very proud of this collaboration. With J&T Express, serving over 320 units of their truck requirements to date. Hino’s Total Support philosophy fosters this partnership, providing the unique advantage of holistic mobility service beginning from quality automotive products to reliable aftersales service including training and technical support,” said Tabata.

“In the past three years, especially during the pandemic, Hino has guaranteed our aftersales service and new truck production capabilities to support our company’s delivery business. In the end, I’d like to borrow our company’s brand slogan, Hino and J&T Express, ‘Be Together, Better Together,’” added Tabata.

The signing ceremony was held at the HMP headquarters in Calamba, Laguna

Aside from J&T Express, the Bureau of Fire Protection’s (BFP) money is also on Hino trucks. Last month, the BFP received 15 units of Hino trucks which were converted into fire trucks. These trucks are powered by a 7.6-liter Hino J08E diesel engine good for 240 horsepower and 716 Nm of torque. In total, 61 units of Hino fire trucks have been issued.
