Some quirky features are a Slurpee gear shifter and a pizza snack holder.

The popularity of the Ford Mustang in the world of sports cars is unmatched. It even received title of being the top-selling sports coupe for the seventh straight year in 2021. But despite that feat, the Blue Oval company is still looking to expand the reach of the coupe by partnering with renowned convenience store chain, 7-Eleven.

Model 711

Dubbed the Model 711, the 7-Eleven-inspired Ford Mustang comes with customization inside and out in a nod to the chain. The Model 711 was brought to famed automotive restoration shop Galpin Auto Sports in Los Angeles to make the vehicle look dazzling, before it will be given away to one lucky 7-Eleven customer.

Exterior-wise, the Mustang gets racing stripes in the trademark 7-Eleven colors of orange, green, and red. It also comes with various stickers such as a 7-Eleven logo on the hood and a ‘Need For Slurpee’ decal by the gas tank cover. Other features on the outside are the night owl emblem, super green wheels, and a cherry red underglow.

Model 711 custom seats

Inside, the custom leather seats are also draped in 7-Eleven colors, while the gear shifter is turned into a Slurpee drink. To enjoy the convenience store’s products on the go, a custom pizza snack holder is installed including cup holders next to it, large enough to fit a Big Gulp or Slurpee. Lastly, the cabin has a custom-made OG To-Go Coffee Since 1964 air freshener.

No details for the powertrain have been shared. But based on exterior design, more notably on the grille, one can expect that the Model 711 is based on the Mustang GT. This should mean that the coupe has the 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine good for 450 horsepower and 558 Nm of torque. And looking at the interior shot, the Slurpee gear shifter appears to be the 10-speed automatic transmission instead of the 6-speed manual.

“We know our customers have an affinity towards car culture, so building a one-of-a-kind car inspired by our most iconic products was a no-brainer,” said 7-Eleven Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Marissa Jarratt.

“We had hundreds of thousands of 7-Eleven car fanatics and customers interact with the voting of customization elements for the Model 711 – and now one lucky customer still has a chance to win these unbelievable wheels. We can’t wait to see the places they’ll go and the many #CarsOf7Eleven pics they’ll take,” added Jarratt.

A special one-off from Ford and 7-Eleven

Unfortunately for us Filipinos, the one-off Model 711 is available only in the United States. Customers can earn a chance to win the 7-Eleven-inspired Mustang by purchasing select products from the store chain’s branches until May 24.
