Ford’s one-two punch combo is suiting up for PH launch.

By now, most of us know that the 2022 Ford Everest, and the all-new Ford Ranger are both coming to the Philippines. But when exactly does Ford Philippines plan to launch the two all-new models?

The all-new 2022 Ford Ranger

Well, Ford PH said that the all-new Everest and Ranger will be launched in the second half of 2022. However, the Blue Oval brand has yet to announce the exact date as to when it will be launching the two all-new Ford vehicles.

Ford PH added that the all-new Everest “will be on sale in the second half of 2022.” The company also re-assured Ranger fans in the Philippines that the “next-generation Ford Ranger is coming in the Philippines in Mid-2022.”

For those unaware though, the all-new Everest and Ranger are next-generation models and both have evolved to improve over the currently available versions. Both come with drastically different-looking exterior designs, and both will have a whole host of new features.

The two Ford vehicles will be larger than their outgoing counterparts. Both will also get new features like wireless charging, a digital gauge cluster, among others.

Ford PH also stated that these will also come equipped with “sophisticated systems”. The brand didn’t expound that much on this, but it did mention the presence of an automated parking system.

Based on the Everest and Ranger sold in other markets though, other features that hopefully will also show up on the Philippine-spec model include a 360-degree view camera, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, a total of nine airbags, among others.

With regards to their engines, Ford PH is likewise being coy about this. In foreign markets though, we know that the Ranger in particular may come with a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine making 250 horsepower and 597 Nm of torque. The single turbo and bi-turbo 2.0-liter inline-4 diesel mills will also make a return. Transmission options may also include a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic.

To this end, it isn’t much of a stretch that those engines might also be available for the upcoming next-gen Everest.

Ford PH has yet to release the price details of the all-new Everest and Ranger. But, the company already indicates that the PH-spec 2022 Everest will initially come with two variants, the Sport and Titanium+.
