The Citylink fully-electric Comet buses
The Comet buses operated by the CityLink Shuttle Service Bus now have routes running between McKinley Hill and San Lorenzo Place. It likewise has several pick-up and drop-off points in between the said route.
All the buses for this shuttle service are fully-electric units and according to the company, these rides do not emit carbon dioxide, toxic gases, or other harmful particles. Plus, they are touted to be spacious, comfortable, and safe as well.
On top of all those advantages, the fully-electric bus rides for the said route are free until June 17, 2023.
Note however that to avail of the said Comet bus rides, one has to download the Getpass app first. The service, after all, is pushing for cashless transactions.
Next, one has to create an account. Once registered, log in and then join the organization tagged as “Citylink.” After those steps, one should then create a QR code. The said code will then be scanned when entering or exiting the Comet buses. Note that once the free rides are no longer available, users will need to buy membership tokens for each ride.

The new Comet bus routes are available from Monday to Sunday. On weekdays, the company has hourly departure times starting from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. On weekends and holidays meanwhile, its hourly departure schedules span from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
