To celebrate its third year in the Philippine market, Chery Auto recently held the Tiggo Club Drive. The route started from the Caltex service station in Mamplasan along the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and it culminated at the Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club in Calamba, Laguna.

As the event’s name implies, it was attended by members of various Chery Tiggo Clubs. Also present were members of the motoring media. According to Chery Auto Philippines/United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. president Erroll Dueñas, he found the chance to bond with Chery Tiggo customers to be pleasurable.
He further expressed that he particularly enjoyed seeing the Chery owners drive and enjoy their cars. Dueñas was also gratified at seeing the Tiggo models lined up “with the majestic Mount Makiling in the background.”
With various Chery clubs in attendance, the entire model lineup of the brand was well represented. Present were the Tiggo 2 Pro and Tiggo 5X subcompact crossovers, the Tiggo 7 Pro compact crossovers, and the midsize Tiggo 8 Pro were also present. Interestingly enough, a Chery QQ, the brand’s first-ever model released locally, was in attendance as well.

If you want to join the Chery family, be aware that the Tiggo 2 Pro is the most affordable with a price range of Php 695,000 to Php 795,000. The priciest meanwhile, is the three-row Tiggo 8 Pro, which has a price range of Php 1,698,000 to Php 2,500,000.
The latter sounds expensive, but the Tiggo 8 Pro 1.5-liter Turbo plug-in hybrid model gets a whole host of advanced driver assist features like an adaptive cruise control system, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, autonomous braking, among others.
