Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) will be showcasing its lineup of cutting-edge new energy vehicles at the upcoming 2024 Manila International Show (MIAS).
Chery Auto PH to go big on PHEVs and EVs at the upcoming 2024 MIAS
At the said event, the brand’s QPower line will take center stage. This will be headlined by the Tiggo 7 Pro Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and the Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV. In addition, the Chery eQ7 fully electric vehicle will be on display as well.
According to CAP, its lineup of hybrids and EVs at MIAS will serve to emphasize its commitment to providing sustainable mobility solutions. In fact, they reinforce the brand’s core values which are: Green, Technology, Family, and Companionship. These models are likewise poised to “redefine every customer’s Chery driving experience” thanks to technologies that are on par with global standards.
So if you’re curious about purchasing a Chery model, the brand’s appearance at the 2024 MIAS will be the perfect chance to get to know their rides a bit better. For those particularly serious about this, you’ll be glad to know that CAP is also offering a test-drive experience for these vehicles during the event.
Of note, the Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine combined with two electric motors. Together, this system can output 321 horsepower and 545 Nm of torque. For now, the exact pricing for this model is yet to be shared by the brand.
Chery eQ7 EV
The Tiggo 8 Pro PHEV meanwhile, has the exact same output as the Tiggo 7 Pro PHEV as it uses the same 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and dual electric motor system found on its hybrid sibling. Pricing for the Tiggo 8 PHEV meanwhile, starts at Php 2.698 million.
The Chery eQ7 electric vehicle (EV) on the other hand, is a compact crossover SUV. In other markets where it is already available, its electric motor can output 207 hp. It also has a range of New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) range of 512 kilometers.
Don’t forget, the 2024 MIAS is scheduled from April 4 to 7, 2024 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
