Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), the marketer of the Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, has reached an agreement with the Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation (FBDC) to open the oil company’s flagship station in BGC, Taguig.

Caltex will open its flagship station in BGC

The company received multiple awards for similar Caltex stations in Malaysia and Singapore. It will be built with various new features that will help improve the experience of customers.

“We are delighted to finalize this partnership with Chevron Philippines. We are aligned in the vision of having a world-class service station that promotes friendly technologies along with traditional fuels,” said FBDC Chief Operating Officer Alfie Reyes.

The upcoming flagship station will come with electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities, strengthening the industry’s push for electrification. Brands like Nissan and Hyundai should benefit from the charging stations for models such as the Leaf, Ioniq 5, and Ioniq 6.

Sustainability will also be incorporated into the station. It will be constructed with paints and adhesives with low or zero volatile organize compound (VOC) content, solar panels, energy-efficient LED lights, and a rainwater collection system.

Addressing the maintenance needs in the area will be the Caltex autoPro workshop. Featuring a unique look that tailors to fit the BGC market, the workshop will provide maintenance services “without the high cost in dealerships.”

CPI’s partnership with Goodyear should also be bolstered through the new station. The partnership aims to offer Caltex StarCard holders a minimum of a five percent discount when they purchase select Goodyear tires.

“We believe that this opportunity to combine the complementary strengths of both CPI and FBDC will enable us to provide motorists with superior fuel and customer experience, especially those in highly urbanized commercial districts such as BGC,” said CPI country chairman Billy Liu.

The upcoming flagship station will be located along 32nd Street, Crescent Park West District, BGC, Taguig City.
