It has opened 37 new stations and 82 new auto workshops last year.

Fuels and lubricants brand Caltex, which is marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) locally, reports on its achievements for 2023.

New Caltex station at Turbina, Calamba, Laguna

First off, the company revealed that it established 37 new stations and 82 auto workshops in the country last year. The new one in J.W. Dionko Boulevard, Pasay was highlighted among these new fuel stations. According to Caltex, this is the third retailer-owned, retailer-operated (RORO) flagship station within the City. Other new Caltex stations in the NCR include one each in Quezon City, Taguig City, and Pasig City.

Another RORO Caltex station was inaugurated in Turbina, Calamba, Laguna. Meanwhile, Southern Luzon likewise saw the opening of three other new Caltex stations within 2023.

Other new stations the company opened last year are located in Palawan, Iloilo City, Bacolod City, Cebu City, Cagayan De Oro City, and Bohol. Several new stations were also established in the regions of Samar, Leyte, and Davao.

Besides the new fuel stations, the company also expanded its network of branded auto and motorcycle workshops. As mentioned, it established a total of 82 Caltex Havoline autoPro, Caltex Havoline bikePro, and Caltex Delo Sport oil change workshops throughout the country.

Establishing these new facilities is just one of the huge milestones Caltex accomplished last year. Beyond that, the brand also sealed successful institutional partnerships notably with the Global Business Power Corporation (GBP).

The company signed an agreement with GBP last year enabling Chevron to supply the latter with fuels needed for seven plant facilities in Iloilo and Cebu.

Chevron also partnered up with Goodyear Philippines in 2023. Via this team-up, the two entities were able to provide Caltex StarCard holders significant discounts for selected Goodyear products.

Chevron also worked together with Edukasyon. ph to support 40 qualified disadvantaged Amazon Web Services scholars under the latter’s re/Start program. The company also engaged in outreach programs, particularly with the Tahanang Walang Hagdanan Inc. (TWHI), specifically for the donation of solar panels.

Of note, TWHI is a non-profit, non-government organization that provides training and other programs for persons with disabilities (PWDs).

With all that said, 2023 was a huge year for Caltex, but the company isn’t resting on its laurels any time soon. This was hinted at by CPI Country Chairman Billy Liu who mentioned it will continuously expand its fuel retail network and branded workshop network in the coming years.

“We understand the growing needs of our valued customers. These expansion initiatives are a testament to our dedication to deliver seamless access to high-quality fuels and a comprehensive range of services,” Liu said.

“By investing in the development of these modern facilities, we aim to contribute not only to the nation’s economic growth but also to the satisfaction of the motorists we serve,” Liu added.
