Bridgestone may be a tire manufacturer that commits to delivering quality tire products to motorists, but the company has also promised to support Filipinos in any way possible. The latest initiative of the Japanese tire company is the inauguration of new classrooms at the Talogtog-Bateng Elementary School in Pangasinan.
New classrooms were constructed by Bridgestone in Pangasinan
The ceremonial turnover was held at the school grounds last March 29. Present at the event were Bridgestone Philippines Marketing Manager and Project Lead Allan Santos, School Principal Alma V. Jomer, members of the school faculty and staff, and representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd).
Bridgestone Philippines said that the initiative done for the Talogtog-Bateng Elementary School is a good example of what individuals, organizations, businesses, and NGOs (non-profit organizations) can do when they work together. Motorists who purchased Bridgestone tires were able to contribute to the school project which has ultimately helped students residing in Mangaldan, Pangasinan with their education.
More students now have better classrooms
Locally, the tire manufacturer is offering a wide array of tire products that can cater to different vehicle types and consumer needs. It has products from all-terrain to performance tires for various car brands including Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Ford, among others. Moreover, the company offers Firestone products which has over 100 years of experience in the tire business.
“This wonderful story represents an important piece of Bridgestone’s strong commitment to society. As everyone reaches out for the future, the brand will remain by your side. Stay tuned for more of Bridgestone’s meaningful projects as we journey together,” said Bridgestone Philippines in a press release.
