The next-generation Honda BR-V will be officially unveiled for the Philippine market on November 21, 2022. This was confirmed in an announcement by Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) on its Facebook page.
It won't be long before the all-new Honda BR-V is officially available in our market
According to the automaker, the second-generation BR-V earned a favorable reception from attendees of the 8th Philippine International Motor Show, where it was exclusively previewed. So far, the new BR-V is currently available in the ASEAN region, with Indonesia and Thailand having four and two trim levels, respectively.
The latest iteration of Honda’s subcompact crossover now sports a more SUV-inspired design. It continues to offer accommodations for up to seven occupants across three seating rows. While the model comes with smart entry, walk-away automatic door locks, and remote engine starting in other markets, no word is out on whether these features will make it to the Philippine release.

Powering the new BR-V is a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC gasoline engine that delivers 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The model will bring a handful of firsts to the Philippine market, including manual seat height adjustment and an adjustable steering wheel across all variants. It will also debut a manual transmission option as an alternative to the continuously variable transmission on offer.
The all-new Honda BR-V will be available in the following variants and colors:
- All-new Honda BR-V 1.5 S MT (Tafetta White, Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic)
- All-new Honda BR-V 1.5 S CVT (Crystal Black Pearl, Tafetta White, Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic)
- All-new Honda BR-V 1.5 V CVT (Crystal Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Premium Opal White Silver)
- All-new Honda BR-V 1.5 VX CVT (Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Premium Opal White Silver)
HCPI has yet to confirm tentative pricing for the new BR-V, but all 37 dealerships across the country are already accepting reservations beginning October 17.
