Hino Motors Philippines Corporation (HMP) announced the introduction of its all-new 200 Series.
The all-new Hino 200 Series
The Hino 200 Series is the company’s lightest truck line offering to Filipino entrepreneurs completed by two models, namely the 315 and 415. Considering the size, the trucks are a perfect choice for micro, small to medium-sized enterprises (MSME).
Navigating city streets are not an issue with the truck with its 4.7-meter turning radius. Loading and unloading of cargo are made easier with a rear chassis height of 705mm. Moreover, drivers get to benefit from ergonomic seats complemented by double-wishbone front suspensions for improved comfort.
A truck perfect for small businesses
In terms of optional features, you are looking at SRS airbags, an anti-locking braking system (ABS), and vehicle stability control (VSC). These can safeguard not only your driver on the go but also your business goods.
Both the 315 and 415 are powered by a Toyota 1GD-FTV engine capable of generating 142 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. With a displacement of just 2,755cc, Hino claims that owners can expect better fuel efficiency. A five-speed manual transmission is used as standard. The main difference between the two trucks is their gross vehicle weight.
The Hino 200 Series can take on the city with ease
The 315 comes with a gross vehicle weight rated at 3,490 kg, while the 415 has it rated at 3,800 kg. Looking at the 315, it falls within the Land Transportation Office’s (LTO) B2 driver’s license restriction. That said, entrepreneurs don’t have to deal with operational disruptions caused by a lack of drivers for vehicles requiring higher license registrations.
If you are looking for one size up in the Japanese brand’s truck offerings, you can consider the Hino 300 Series. One of its key features is a fully automatic transmission, which is unique for its class. Regardless of which Hino truck you choose, HMP is offering the Total Support promise, the company’s initiative to make their customers’ ownership experience better.
