You might know by now that the next-generation Ford Ranger will be out in the market soon. This is due to the countless teaser campaigns that Ford has rolled out for its all-new model, along with multiple spy photos. Well, it seems like fans of the truck won’t have to wait long for its global debut next week as it has been spotted once again on the road.
All-new Ford Ranger
In a series of photos shared by Warren on the Vic High Country Trips, Info, Vehicle Setups Facebook group, the all-new Ford Ranger is seen driving around alongside the Everest and Ranger Raptor. Of course, the three Ford models were wearing camouflage to conceal their new design elements.
Looking at the photos, one can say that the Ford models come with ARB 4x4 off-road accessories. Some of these enhancements include a bull-bar, roof racks, LED auxiliary lights, and a snorkel for improved water wading. Ford could be testing the off-road capabilities of its all-new vehicles with the additional bits installed.
The new Ford Everest makes its appearance in a camouflage
No official specifications have been disclosed by the Blue Oval company just yet. But reports suggest that the Ranger and Everest will offer a 15.5-inch portrait infotainment screen similar to the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Both are expected to come with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Ford’s SYNC 4 system.
The Ford Ranger and Everest are expected to still be powered by a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine that makes 211 hp and 500 Nm of torque. Rumors hint that a possible power bump will be applied to the said engine. Meanwhile, the Ranger Raptor will reportedly get a larger V6 turbodiesel engine as standard.
Expect to see the redesigned Ranger Raptor in 2022
As said earlier, the all-new Ford Ranger will be the first one to see daylight in its full form – on November 24 to be exact. Ford Philippines is already letting customers sign up for updates on the latest iteration of its midsize truck. A live stream will be held on Ford Philippines' Facebook and YouTube channel on the said date at 3:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the new Ford Everest could give its pickup truck sibling time to shine first before making its own debut. Lastly, the new Ford Ranger Raptor is expected to be launched next year.
