The new design of the upcoming 2023 Hyundai Grandeur makes its debut as a sleek and modern take on the large sedan formula. Now in its seventh-generation, the Grandeur remains the Korean equivalent of the Toyota Crown since making its initial Korean debut way back in 1986.

As mentioned above, the new Grandeur’s look is as modern as it gets. Up front is what Hyundai calls the Seamless Horizon Lamp (daytime running lamp), which emphasizes the car’s width. The said lighting element complements the new Grandeur’s unique grille, which was made to seamlessly transition from the front fascia instead of being a totally segregated piece.
The front also gets a pair of main LED clusters flanking the said grille. All in all, it somewhat resembles the front end of the Staria but sleeker.

The side of the new Grandeur then exhibits long character lines. It also gets flush door handles and a rear quarter glass just like the first-generation model. From the side, one can also see that it has massive doors which hints at a roomy interior. More on this later.
For the rear, Hyundai describes it as “taut.” Details on this part of the vehicle includes a light bar spanning the car’s width, a curved trunk lid with a rearview camera, and a hidden exhaust tip.

Just like the seamless exterior, the interior of the Grandeur has been likewise designed to be luxurious and sleek. The cockpit gets a long screen stretching from the driver’s side to the center of the dash, and it seems that it has plenty of soft touch surfaces.
The interior also sports plenty of LED lighting for additional eye candy. And unlike some luxury sedans which have recently been released, the new Grandeur does get a mechanical latch for its glove box, as well some physical buttons.

Last but not the least is the steering wheel which assumes an interesting look. Hyundai says that this is a nod to the single-spoke steering wheel that came on the first-gen Grandeur.
For the actual launch of the 2023 Hyundai Grandeur, sources say it’ll likely happen at the start of 2023. Until then, keep it here on Philkotse for more updates.
