Japanese luxury automaker Lexus announced that the facelifted model of the 7th-generation ES will be arriving in the country in the fourth quarter of 2022. With that said, Lexus Philippines is now accepting pre-orders so interested individuals may visit its official website and arrange a consultation with a personal sales consultant.
2022 Lexus ES facelift
Launched last April 2021, the 2022 Lexus ES facelift is designed with similar exterior details as the pre-facelift model. The facelift version gets updated and sharper headlights, a modernized mesh grille, and new sporty wheel design options. It will also be offered in the local market with more body color options.
Inside, the new Lexus ES now benefits from a touch screen display to improve operability, with a trackpad as another tool to control the infotainment system. Known globally for its “Refined Comfort,” the midsize sedan is fitted with a human-centric cabin that can bear various color schemes depending on one’s taste.
A premium cabin experience
Improving the model’s renowned comfort is its enhancements on its braking system. The updated brake pedal release helps the vehicle stop more seamlessly, resulting in smoother ride comfort. This minor system update is a reflection of the car brand’s commitment to providing luxury vehicles with a premium feel.
Under the hood, the 2022 Lexus ES will most likely be powered by a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine that can make 300 hp and 357 Nm of torque. Lexus Philippines might add a hybrid powertrain to the PH-spec model to further improve its versatility to help reach the wide array of car buyers in the market.
The Lexus ES has been around since 1989
As one of the best-selling Lexus vehicles of all time, Lexus Philippines hopes that the new subtle changes on the 2022 ES will help solidify the model’s name in the country. It will be marketed for those who are looking for a premium car that maximizes comfort, performance, and aesthetic appeal.
Lexus Philippines hasn’t disclosed the official pricing of the upcoming PH-spec 2022 ES midsize sedan that is set to debut later this year. Since it is a facelifted model, one can expect that the price would go above the current price point at Php 4,478,000 for its sole 3.5 AT variant.
