It hasn’t been a month since the full reveal of the 2022 Kia Sportage’s exterior and interior features but there are already multiple spy shots featuring the possible trims that the Korean car brand will soon roll out. The following photos are shared by the thekoreancarblog.com, which were taken in South Korea.

The two variants that were announced in the new compact crossover’s unveiling can be seen in the photos. Not a lot of differences between the two variants except that the flagship X-Line, or called Gravity in the South Korean market, gets a unique bumper in the front and the rear, side sill, and curved roof rack.

Also new to the vehicle is the military matte body paint finish. Looking at the spy shots with the said paint finish, it could be available on the non-X-Line variant as the photos show that the military matte Sportage comes with the same rear lower bumper as the regular model.

Inside, the X-Line will be offered with two interior options, including a signature sage green or black seating. Bold quilting and black metal wood are integrated into the cabin to add premium touches. Both the front seats come with a hanger-type design to allow items to be hooked into place.

The all-new Kia Sportage will come with two wheelbase configurations, namely a short wheelbase which will be available exclusively in the European market, and a long wheelbase that will be marketed in various markets such as in South Korea and the United States.

More details about the fifth-gen model are expected to be disclosed by the Korean car brand before the compact crossover is officially rolled out for sales later this year. Meanwhile, Kia Philippines has yet to announce whether it will add the new version to the local lineup or not.
