Make the hatchback even more stylish and sportier than it already is.

Honda recently unveiled the 11th-generation 2022 Civic hatchback which shares similar features and details with its sedan sibling, the new Civic. It now comes with sleeker and more mature styling, while still retaining the sportiness and aggressive look we all got used to using from one of Honda’s longest-running nameplates.

2022 Honda Civic Hatchback with OEM parts and kits

Now that the new Honda Civic Hatchback has been officially introduced, the Japanese automaker rolled out the hatchback’s genuine OEM parts and kits for those who are looking to further improve the looks of the model. The genuine parts and kits aim to enhance the enjoyment of driving, as well as the joy of owning the hatchback.

Snazzier-looking Modulo aluminum wheels

Exterior genuine accessories include a front lower skirt, tailgate spoiler, Modulo aluminum wheels, and door mirror cover. The front lower skirt will both help improve the aerodynamic efficiency and stance of the hatchback. Complementing this is the body-colored tailgate spoiler or wing which provides similar functions.

"Civic" pattern projector

To make the hatchback look and feel flashy, Honda is offering a dedicated pattern projector that is attached to the doors. What this does is it illuminates the “Civic” badge on the ground once the door is opened. This is a little detail that can help separate the one with OEM parts and kits from the regular model.

"Civic" side step garnish

Inside, a side step garnish that illuminates the “Civic” nameplate in a snazzy fashion is made available. Completing the hatchback’s main genuine accessories are the center console box and drink holder illumination that provides extra flair in the cabin.

Unfortunately, the said Honda Civic Hatchback OEM parts and kits, including the model itself, won’t be available in the country as Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is only offering the Civic sedan in the Philippine lineup. The closest model to the Civic Hatchback that we Filipinos can get our hands on is the Honda Civic Type R.

Enhance the rear end with the OEM spoiler

That’s the case for now but who knows, maybe HCPI eventually brings the 5-door Honda Civic here. When that happens, hopefully, these sporty kits become available as well.
