Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is on track with its intended commencement date of the 2021 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup that was first announced last March 2021. The race event with the one-make-race-series’ trademark waku-doki (heart-pumping) will finally kick off this weekend.
2021 Toyota Vios Cup is just around the corner
As a recap, the Toyota Vios Cup this year was postponed as the Japanese automaker is complying with the safety protocols against the COVID-19 pandemic. Its first leg will be held at the Clark International Speedway on July 10, but no spectators will be allowed at the race venue. Interested individuals may catch the race live on TMP and Toyota Gazoo Racing PH’s official Facebook pages. Aside from the full coverage of the races, Toyota said that virtual fans can also expect more exciting games, activities, and heart-racing fun together with their favorite racers.
Watch big names at the race event
Under the 2021 Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup, it will have two racing events, namely the Circuit Championship and the Autocross Challenge. The Circuit Championship features the classic format of racing against each other, while the Autocross Challenge sets obstacles courses where individual participants must drive across in the shortest possible lap time.
