It’s as good as what’s on the outside.

Three weeks ago, Kia Motors revealed the new fourth-generation Carnival that comes with a stronger and stylish design presence. In fact, Kia wants to call it a “Grand Utility Vehicle” rather than a regular minivan.

Now, Kia Motors revealed the interior features for the fourth-gen and it really lived up to its “Grand” name.

The Grand Utility Vehicle provides a spacious, comfortable, and a futuristic ambiance that complements well with the exterior features. Its designers focused on creating a greater sense of roominess inside so that passengers can enjoy and relax even on long journeys.

Kia intends to bring a new and better impression of the Carnival

The dashboard integrates futuristic dual-screen infotainment technology with haptic touch controls that provide drivers with high-quality driving experience. 2021 Kia Carnival comes with Kia’s latest 12.3-inch digital driver instrument cluster and 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment and navigation system.

Many infotainment functions can be controlled using touch-sensitive buttons around the screen, with a similar panel for the climate control system.

A shift-by-wire dial for the transmission is also installed at the base of the center console. These functions provide a sense of an advanced technological environment that instantly sets it apart from its predecessors.

The interior is based on the ‘Spatial Talents’ interior design concept created by Kia’s design team. It has now more interior and luggage space thanks to the fourth-gen’s longer wheelbase, longer rear overhang, and wider body exterior design.

Kia did an excellent job designing the fourth-generation inside and out

Kia added more interior features to provide a “Grand” experience to passengers such as features for stowing, supporting, and even charging electronic devices and smaller items.

In addition, second-row occupants are provided with access to back-of-seat USB chargers, storage nets for mobile devices, and new storage drawer in the base of the rear console.

Sit back and relax while you're on the road

The Korean car brand will be offering, depending on the market, three or four-row seating configurations, with space for seven, nine, or eleven occupants in total. For the 7-seat configuration, the Carnival boasts its reclining chairs for second-row occupants – providing a high-class family lounge appeal.
