Now, we’ve already seen for ourselves what the next-generation Hyundai Tucson looks like. It’s futuristic, and it’s a vast departure from the previous Tucson models that came before it. On top of that, we already know that it’s a capable, and tough crossover. That’s pretty evident from how the 2021 Tucson did during its testing phase in Europe.
Recently however, Hyundai revealed to the world that the 2021 Tucson is getting an N Line variant. The Korean company is currently developing this variant of the Hyundai Tucson and it takes the crossover up a notch especially when it comes to aesthetics.
The Tucson N Line looks menacing
From the official renderings, we can see that the Tucson N Line has a different, lower-slung front fascia. The grille is now straddled by two different looking corner lights. Overall, the front end is definitely more aggressive than the regular 2021 Tucson.
Towards the rear, the Tucson N Line is beefier than its normal counterpart. That’s because Hyundai gave it an angular looking rear diffuser, as well as a bulkier rear bumper. Apart from that, it might be getting a different set of wheels as well.
Regarding the performance of the Tucson N Line, Hyundai hasn’t revealed any information about that as of yet. Rumors online say the new Tucson N Line will be getting a 2.5-liter turbocharged mill capable of making 290 horsepower. Remember, the most powerful engine of the “regular” 2021 Tucson is a hybrid 1.6-liter gasoline mill that can already make 230 horsepower in total.

We're certain that these exterior features isn't just for show
That said, the 2021 Tucson is a particularly important release for the Korean marque. As such, releasing an N Line version will only solidify the said model’s mark in the ever-competitive global crossover market.
On the other hand, Hyundai Philippines has yet to announce when the 2021 Tucson will arrive in the market. From the looks of it, the 2021 Hyundai Tucson is set to be one of the strongest contenders in the local compact crossover segment.
