Pre-registration will start soon.

Worldbex Services International (WSI) announced that the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) for 2022 is officially making its return to staging the event on the ground.

2022 MIAS is around the corner

As a refresher, the 2020 MIAS was canceled due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country. The motor show wanted to ensure the safety of its stakeholders, exhibitors, and visitors. It even transformed the venue into a quarantine facility to battle the pandemic. To keep fans engaged, the organizers launched the MIAS Wired, which is the event’s first-ever digital edition that exhibited 3D showrooms of various car brands.

These car brands include BMW, Chery, Chevrolet, Geely, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Suzuki, among others. The virtual motor show also hosted the Formula V1 Virtual Cup and Formula V1 Fantasy League, 25th Automotive Association of the Philippines (AAP) Motor Sport Awards, and Road Safety Academy by JP Tuason.

As for this year, no schedules for the 2022 MIAS have been revealed just yet in regards to the events that will be held per day. But as always, the upcoming motor show will be used as a platform by car brands to launch and showcase several new models in the local market. It will also be a place for car-related organizations to promote their products that can be handy for Filipinos’ car ownership experience.

It will return to the World Trade Center

The 2022 MIAS will be held at the World Trade Center located in Pasay City, Metro Manila. It will be showcasing "the latest car launches and jaw-dropping car designs" from April 7 to 10, 2022. The organizers said that pre-registration will start soon so interested individuals should stay tuned.

In consideration of the current quarantine restrictions, the motor show event will impose safety guidelines to ensure the safety of all attendees. Some of the concerns are whether children are allowed and will the event only accept fully vaccinated individuals. More details are said to follow.
