Toyota Rush Color: Which hue is best for you?

Updated Feb 22, 2023

Which of the seven color options would you opt for?

In 2020, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), the official distributor of Toyota vehicles in the country, updated the Toyota Rush to come with a 7-seating configuration as standard across its variants. This makes the Toyota Rush a more ideal choice for those in the market looking for an affordable and spacious family vehicle.

So if you are one of the car buyers who are currently considering the Toyota Rush as your next family vehicle, then we will help you decide on which body color you should opt for. TMP offers its entry-level 7-seater SUV with a total of seven body color options which could give you a difficult time choosing the best hue for you.

With that being said, we have listed down all the available colors for the Toyota Rush available in the Philippines. We will also tackle which color option complements the stock exterior details, features, and design of the entry-level SUV to give you a broader idea so you could conclude.

Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT

The color options offered on the Toyota Rush 1.5 E MT base variant are White, Silver Mica Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, Bronze Mica Metallic, and Black Metallic. If you opt for the base variant of the Japanese entry-level SUV, then you don’t have to worry about additional costs as all of the Toyota Rush color options are free.

Toyota Rush Black Metallic

Before choosing a body color finish for your Toyota Rush, you first have to consider the stock exterior details of the model. These exterior details include a chrome radiator grille, chrome front skid plate, blacked-out fender flares, side sills, and lower bumper, and chrome rear under garnish.

Opting for the Toyota Rush E MT with the Silver Mica Metallic will complement the chrome trims of the entry-level SUV. It will also look good on the variant’s 16-inch alloy wheels as it creates a harmonious color combination.

Toyota Rush Bronze Mica Metallic

Meanwhile, the Toyota Rush Black Metallic 1 may not go well with the black trims of the vehicle. The Japanese automaker adds the black trims on the fender flares and side sills to make it look more like a proper off-road SUV. Choosing the Black Metallic 1 might defeat the purpose of the brand for the model.

But just to remind you, picking the body color for your vehicle will always be subjective. An all-black appearance could be the most wonderful and colorful from your perspective. Choose the body color option that you personally like as repainting the vehicle could cost you some fortune.

Toyota Rush Dark Red Mica Metallic

If you want your baseline Toyota Rush E variant to showcase a more youthful and eye-catching appeal, there are two body color options you can choose, namely the Bronze Mica Metallic and the Dark Red Mica Metallic. The Toyota Rush with the color Bronze Mica Metallic should provide a snazzy look that would look somewhat unique on the road.

On the other hand, the Toyota Rush E Dark Red Mica Metallic can provide a touch of sportiness to the finish. Plus, red and black is relatively a good color combination so this type of body paint should go well with the blacked-out exterior details of the Japanese automaker’s entry-level SUV in the Philippines.

Toyota Rush 1.5 E AT

Moving up one step up the variants, the Toyota Rush 1.5 E AT is available with the same five color options as the base variant. Again, these body colors include the Black Metallic 1, Bronze Mica Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, and White. No additional costs are included as well.

Just like the base variant, there are no changes in the stock exterior details. This mid-spec variant of the model is still designed with the same chrome and blacked-out features of the baseline E MT. As such, the said body colors above for the base variant still have the same look and appearance as the E AT variant.

Toyota Rush White

However, there is one body color that we haven’t touched on just yet, and that is the humble White paint. The Toyota Rush in color white would make your vehicle look like the majority on the road. This statement could be a good thing or a big thing, it depends on you and your taste.

Opting for the White body color has a lot of benefits. One of the most important factors why most people choose white is because it can help the vehicle look cleaner. This type of body paint can hide dirt and dust easier as compared to other body paints, making white the most popular color for cars around the world.

Toyota Rush Silver Mica Metallic

On the contrary, opting for the Toyota Rush with the Black Metallic 1 body paint will highlight the dust and dirt you could accumulate by simply driving on the road. The rainy season could be a troublesome season for you as you will have to wash your car more often to keep its classy black finish.

Toyota Rush 1.5 G AT

Lastly, the top-of-the-line Toyota Rush color option includes Black Metallic 1, White 2, Bronze Mica Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, Silver Mica Metallic, and the Bordeaux Mica body color. Looking at the body color options, only the White 2 and Bordeaux Mica Metallic are the exclusive options for the flagship variant.

Toyota Rush Bordeaux Mica Metallic

The difference between the top-spec Toyota Rush G variant and E variants in terms of exterior design is that the G variant comes with a smoke chrome (as opposed to the chrome finish on the E variants) and chrome roof rails. No significant changes so Silver Mica Metallic, Dark Red Mica Metallic, and Bronze Mica Metallic body paints still have the same appearance in the top-spec variant.

Perhaps the best thing about the flagship Toyota Rush G variant is its Bordeaux Mica body paint option. The Toyota Rush color in Bordeaux Mica will create a distinctive look as compared to the lower E variants. So if you want people to easily notice that you got the most expensive variant, then the Bordeaux Mica could be the hue for you.

The color options for each variant of Toyota Rush may change every year, so you can also consider looking at used Toyota Rush cars to have more options to choose from.
