If you’re in the market for a German-branded vehicle this month, then check this out. Volkswagen Philippines, together with the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has partnered up to bring to us the “Zero in on a Volkswagen” promo that’s available until July 31, 2021.

Now, this promo is available for both BPI and even non-BPI depositors and it offers a no cash-out promo for specific variants of the Santana, Lavida, and Lamando. How this works is that one won’t actually pay for a downpayment, and will instead enter into a Hold-out Agreement with the bank in question.
This of course is still subject to BPI’s approval, but nevertheless, one can drive away with a Volkswagen for only a 20 percent downpayment deposit. The keyword there is the word “deposit,” and as it is a hold-out agreement, the customer will still be able to access that money (the downpayment) after 24 months. Well, provided that the auto loan account is up-to-date, and consistently paid before the indicated monthly amortization due dates.

Within the 24-month time frame however, your money will earn interest, thus saving you money. On top of that, Volkswagen’s current cash savings promos available for its several models can also stack on top of the “Zero in on a Volkswagen” promo. Also, buying a car from Volkswagen with this promo ensures a free chattel mortgage fee, as well as a free first-year comprehensive insurance.
