The brand then follows that said launch by revealing two new Lite Ace variants that are geared to cater to more diverse individuals who are looking for a business mobility transport. The two new variants are the Lite Ace Utility Van, and the Cargo Aluminum Van.
For the Lite Ace Utility Van, it features an FX-type rear body that’s able to seat up to 12 occupants including the driver. And like most utility vans in the market, the seats are arranged in a bench-type jeepney style configuration. But while poised as a people carrier, this version of the Lite Ace can still carry up to 720 kilograms of cargo making it an ideal choice for small to medium enterprises.
The Aluminum Van in turn, gets a box-type, closed cargo rear body that’s best for dry goods, and agricultural businesses. At the most, it can carry 625 kilograms of cargo, according to TMP.

Like the other Toyota Lite Ace versions, these two new additions feature halogen lighting, mudguards, and 14-inch steel wheels. Inside, both also come standard with manual air-conditioning, PVC seats, and a 2-DIN AM, FM, USB, and CD-capable audio system with Bluetooth and auxiliary jack connectivity. Safety is then handled by dual front airbags, front seat belts, and a steering lock.
As with the other Lite Ace models, the FX Utility van and Aluminum Van make use of a 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine that’s capable of making up to 94 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque. The said engine is then paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, and power is sent to the rear.
With regards to pricing, the Lite Ace FX Utility Van retails for Php 727,000, whereas the Cargo Aluminum Van is priced at Php 699,000.
