Ever since the debut of the Scion FR-S Rocket Bunny, the popularity of the Japanese car tuner TRA Kyoto skyrocketed all over the world. The Scion FR-S Rocket Bunny, or the Toyota 86, continued the strong foundation laid out by the Nissan S13 with the company’s aggressive body kits.

With that in mind, one can say that it is only right that TRA Kyoto gives a proper makeover for the all-new Toyota GR 86. And yes, before the global sales of the new sports car, the Japanese car tuner unveiled the new model’s Rocket Bunny boy kit that looks a lot aggressive as expected.
Widebody kits have been the go-to for TRA Kyoto’s work, and it shows in its Toyota GR 86. At the front, the sports car comes with a large splitter with canards, which give the vehicle an aerodynamic look. An additional air intake is highlighted in the center of the front fascia to provide a more efficient engine cooling.

On the sides, the company’s signature wide-body fender flares are present in the final product. The suspensions are lowered to create a more sports car-like appearance. Meanwhile, the rear end is topped off with a customized rear wing and diffuser that continues the sporty appeal from the front.
TRA Kyoto hasn’t displayed the interior changes it made for the Toyota GR 86. But based on the front end photo, the new Japanese sports car’s rear seats have been removed to install a roll cage. Not only does this addition enhances the overall sporty look, but it also reduces weight and improves safety in the event of a rollover.

As for pricing, the Japanese car tuner didn’t disclose the pricing of the GR 86’s Rocket Bunny boy kit. The Toyota GR 86 will go on sale in November 2021. By then, it should only be a matter of time before it arrives in Toyota Motor Philippines’ lineup.
