Toyota Motor Philippines has announced that it will be introducing the Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) this coming April 12, 2024.

The said launch event will be held at SM Aura in Taguig City at 11 a.m. on the aforementioned date. The new Corolla Cross HEV will then be displayed until April 14, 2024.
For those not able to attend the said event, do note that the launch program will be livestreamed on the official Toyota Motor Philippines Facebook page. Plus, those interested may check out the all-new Corolla Cross model at all Toyota dealerships nationwide as its selling period will also start on April 12.
Concerning the Corolla Cross HEV’s specs, TMP has yet to share anything. The brand, however, did say that it will bear a stylish exterior as well as a spacious, feature-rich interior just like the currently available version.
Judging by the teaser image shown by the brand, it also appears that the upcoming Corolla Cross HEV has been redesigned a bit as it now bears a sleeker closed-off grille and a different-looking LED headlamp cluster.
In addition, TMP revealed that the all-new Corolla Cross and its variants will be unveiled as an all-hybrid lineup. This might hint towards the discontinuation of the non-hybrid internal combustion (ICE) trims but do take this with a grain of salt.
Thai-spec Toyota Corolla Cross HEV
Note also that the model shown in the teaser looks quite similar to the facelifted 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross HEV that made its ASEAN debut in Thailand. At maximum, the Thai-spec Corolla Cross HEV’s 1.8-liter engine and electric motor can make up to 120 horsepower. It likewise sports a larger touchscreen infotainment system, as well as a new digital instrument cluster.
Regardless, we are not yet certain if what the Philippine market is getting is the same model as Thailand so let us wait for its upcoming official debut.
