A few days ago, we talked about the new Warrior variant that’s based on the facelifted 2021 Nissan Navara Pro-4X. In that report, the Australian engineering company by the name of Premcar has released teaser photos of the aforementioned Navarra variant.
The 2021 Nissan Navara Pro-4X Warrior
Nissan released an official update about the said variant. The Japanese automaker states that the all-new Navara Pro-4X Warrior is in the midst of testing and is almost ready to be officially launched. Nissan also released several pictures of the said truck and we now also know what kind of on-board tech this upcoming Navara version offers. Suffice to say, it is indeed shaping up to be the “world’s toughest Navara.”
According to Nissan, Premcar was chosen to produce the new Navara Pro-4X Warrior as it already had the experience of optimizing vehicle performance in the context of rugged Australian geography. So, just like the previous N-Warrior which was released back in 2019, the Pro-4X Warrior has features that make it more offroad capable without sacrificing practicality. These include more ground clearance, a new rear sports bar, and a beefier steel integrated bull bar.

While the power plant remains the same, Premcar says that there’s also a lot of improvements with the new Navara Pro-4X Warrior’s interior. It gets a seven-inch instrument cluster, a high-contrast eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, as well as a leather-accented interior.
It also bears the same safety equipment already available on the Australia-spec Navara Pro-4X. It will come standard with seven airbags, intelligent emergency braking, intelligent forward collision warning, among others.

In connection to the Philippine market, be reminded that Nissan Philippines did release a Warrior package for the local market. The modifications provided weren’t as extensive as the Navara N-Warrior, but it did make a Navara stand out more appearance-wise. To this end, we’re hoping that the new full-blown version of the Navara Pro-4X Warrior can also make it to Philippine shores, and not just another toned-down version. Heck, it might be able to compete against the Ford Ranger Raptor in the local market.
