Buying a brand new car can be quite challenging considering the soaring fuel prices in today’s time. But the guys at Nissan Philippines want to aid Filipino car buyers by rolling out cash discounts on its models including the Almera.
One exciting Japanese sedan
The Nissan Almera is available with a cash discount of Php 50,000. This deal is offered on the sedan’s mid-spec variant called the 1.0 VE Turbo CVT. With that in mind, the said model can now be taken home at Php 948,000 from its Php 998,000 SRP (suggested retail price).
For the price, the Japanese subcompact sedan offers LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), LED tail lamps, and 15-inch alloy wheels. Moving to the cabin, passengers can stay connected on the go with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and six speakers.
Under the hood is a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine good for 99 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The engine is paired to an XTRONIC continuously variable transmission (CVT) with an idle-stop system. Meanwhile, the MT variants use a 5-speed manual transmission which delivers more torque at 160 Nm.
The mid-spec Nissan Almera 1.0 VE Turbo CVT is also equipped with the Nissan Intelligent Mobility, offering features such as an Intelligent Around View Monitor (AVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD), Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB), and Hill Start Assist (HSA).
Nissan Almera N-Sport
In addition, the top-of-the-line Almera 1.0 VL N-Sport Turbo CVT gets more out of the brand’s advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) including Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). This variant, along with the Almera 1.0 VE Turbo MT, is available with a cash discount of Php 20,000.
