No release dates were specified yet though.

A week ago, we broke the news that the all-new Everest has been undergoing its final stages of testing. From that report we saw how its shape has evolved, but then it still wore that funky geometric camouflage pattern often seen on pre-production prototypes.

The all-new 2022 Ford Ranger

Back in November, we also reported that the next-gen Ranger pickup truck had already made its debut. It's not out yet, but we've already seen what it looks like, and we already know a bit of how it is specced.

More recently however, it seems that Ford Philippines has updated its official website and it is now listing the next-gen Ranger and next-gen Everest under its “coming soon” tab on its vehicles section. For the pickup truck, we can see the model as clear as day. The Ford Everest however is still a shadowy silhouette.

With that said the two new versions of Ford’s best-selling models are indeed coming to the local market. However, do note that many sources say that production for the Ranger which already debuted, is yet to start. Although, many are saying that Ford will begin making Ranger units in the starting months of 2022.

Also, the 2022 Ford Everest’s reveal is happening sometime next year. Ford announced that the all-new Everest will make its global debut in the first quarter of 2022.

For those who are unaware, the upcoming next-generation Ranger and Everest for the 2022 model year bear a new overall design that evolved from the previous models. Both look more modern and are sporting new sets of LED headlights all around, whilst still maintaining a brusque but capable look.

As per previous reports, the Ranger will be getting a new 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine. It will also get smaller engine options, namely a 2.0--liter single turbo diesel mill, and a 2.0-liter biturbo engine.

The upcoming next-gen Everest might also get the new V6 mill

And yes, the upcoming Everest might also get the same engine options like the 2022 Ranger, as it is still a body-on-frame SUV based on the said pickup truck.

We can also expect an improved array of driver-assist features on both the Ranger and the Everest. For now, Ford is yet to release any details regarding this, but both models will likely come with technologies like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot detection, among others.
