Following the strong performance of the Territory that arrived locally in August 2020, Ford Philippines is taking it up a notch with the introduction of the compact crossover's next-generation iteration.
Next-gen Ford Territory
The all-new Ford Territory enters the local market in its second-generation form. It uses the same approach as its predecessor by offering loads of tech and features while keeping the price competitive.
With a starting price of Php 1,335,000, the next-gen Ford Territory Titanium comes with a more prominent SUV appeal underscored by the larger grille upfront. The exterior is equipped with LED headlights with an auto on-off function and 18-inch alloy wheels.
It is loaded with tech and features
Inside, the driver and front passenger get a 10-way powered seat and a 4-way manual seat, respectively. The seats are finished in perforated partial leather with two-tone peacock blue and domino color combination. Moreover, the aircon system has been upgraded with a dual-zone function.
The crossover is equipped with a new 7-inch digital gauge cluster that provides real-time information. Also new is a larger 12-inch infotainment touchscreen that replaces the predecessor's 10-inch head unit. This allows occupants to access various controls, as well as the 360-degree camera view.
The new Territory looks tougher
Included in the safety package are Blind Spot Information System with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Hill Descent Control, and Hill Launch Assist. It is also installed with Active Park Assist, allowing the vehicle to automatically park in parallel and perpendicular parking spots.
Ford Philippines has now opened the reservation books for the next-gen Territory on its official website ahead of the vehicle's public reveal. For a worry-free ownership experience, the model comes with a 5-year warranty.
"Finally, the long wait is over. The next-generation Ford Territory has officially arrived in the Philippines, and we are excited for its public reveal happening very soon," Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.
"The next-gen Territory is set to redefine the 5-seater SUV segment in the country once again. We are confident that the major upgrades and enhancements equipped in the next-gen Territory will resonate with first-time car buyers, young affluent professionals, and starting families who want to own each moment of their driving adventures," added Breen.
