The Mitsubishi Delica Mini may not have won the top accolade at the Japan Car of the Year (JCOTY) awards but it has been voted as the 2023-2024 Design Car of the Year. This marks the first time for Mitsubishi Motors to win the said award.
The JCOTY is now in its 44th year, and it is organized and run by representatives from 39 of Japan’s most influential automotive and lifestyle publications who select the 60 jurors each year.
The Delica Mini’s distinctive exterior and interior design won the hearts of the organizing committee. Its “cute and attractive look” makes it a standout vehicle as per the JCOTY jurors, and we can’t help but agree as the Delica Mini was among the vehicles that caught our attention during the Japan Mobility Show.
