Based on the Mini Cooper S, the Seaside Edition is limited to 10 examples only. It was unveiled at the Mini Bonifacio Global City Showroom in Taguig complemented by lively music, refreshing beverages, and a virtual golf booth.

“With more than 30 years of individual style and top-down driving fun, we are excited to celebrate the anniversary of the Mini Convertible with Seaside Edition,” said Mini Asia Head Mr. Daren Ching.

The Mini Convertible Seaside Edition is available in two exterior colors: Caribbean Aqua and Nanuq White. The side profile gets double decorative stripes from the side doors to the rear. It also features a stylized “30” (commemorating the 30th anniversary) on the front apron and floating wheel caps.

The dash also holds the screen with the Mini operating system that supports Apple CarPlay.

Powering the vehicle is a 2.0-liter Mini TwinPower engine capable of generating 178 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. It is coupled to a seven-speed Steptronic dual-clutch transmission (DCT). Mini claims the convertible can go from zero to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds.
