The midsize sedan segment generally offers a premium experience for drivers and passengers, hence the executive car title. Mercedes-Benz Philippines wants to further elevate the premium characteristics of the E-Class with the launching of the model’s Avantgarde line trim.
Mercedes-Benz E-Class Avantgarde
This follows the launching of the 2022 E-Class into the local market last February. As an Avantgarde model, the Mercedes-Benz sedan has a design that looks elegant, along with touches of sportiness. The company said that this model “appeals to the Alpha Boss who makes high demands both of themselves, as well as their vehicles.”
Exterior-wise, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Avantgarde gets a redesigned grille with two chrome louvers and vertical high-gloss black struts. Providing a sporty feel to the design are features such as chrome and high-gloss black trims on the front bumper, LED high-performance headlamps, and 19-inch 10-spoke light alloy wheels.
Interior of the E-Class Avantgarde
Moving into the interior, passengers are greeted by full Artico leather as standard in the Avantgarde line, with drivers getting a sports steering wheel. Two 12.3-inch displays are installed on the dashboard – one for the infotainment and one for the instrument cluster. The latest NT6 MBUX multimedia system is installed on the infotainment screen.
Powering the vehicle is a 2.0-liter inline-4 gasoline engine with 197 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 9G-TRONIC gearbox (9-speed automatic transmission). To keep driving safe, features such as Attention Assist, Active Brake Assist, Urban Guard vehicle protection, and Active Parking Assist are equipped.
Achieving a unique level of comfort and safety
The 2022 Mercedes-Benz E-Class 200 Avantgarde is offered with a price tag of Php 5,290,000. For those who are looking for a sportier appeal, the sedan is also available in the AMG Line trim, which starts at Php 5,390,000.
