If you’ve kept up with the FIFA World Cup 2022 news, then you’ll know that Hyundai is supporting the said event by supplying it with a total of 226 electrified cars. Hyundai’s local arm in turn has also pitched in promoting the event by organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Test Drive Promo. Two lucky winners have already been picked.

The draw for the said event happened last October 3, 2022. Entrants of the said event were picked out from those who gave the all-new Hyundai Creta a test drive at the 2022 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), or at any Hyundai Motor Dealership during the month of September this year.
The two lucky winners include Ms. Danielle Lois San Miguel from Naga City, and Mr. Lloyd Canonce from Leyte. Each winner gets two free round-trip flight tickets to Qatar, and two tournament passes for the much-anticipated football event. They will also be supplied with a travel allowance, and they will be given a free city tour. Plus, they are also provided with a four-day stay at the luxurious Mövenpick West Bay Doha.

It goes without saying that they won all these perks thanks to their interest in the Creta. So for those who are curious about this crossover as well, be aware that it is available in four different variants, with a price ranging from Php 998,000 to Php 1,332,000.
Under the hood of the Hyundai Creta is a 1.5-liter engine mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission. At the most, this configuration can produce up to 111 horsepower and 144 Nm of torque. It also gets a slew of driving modes to optimize handling and power delivery.
Present on the top-spec Creta GLS is plenty of safety features. Known collectively as the Hyundai Smart Sense, it includes forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping and lane following assist, blind spot collision-avoidance assist, among others.
