Japanese automaker Honda has been competing in the local market for quite some time now. So much so that Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is celebrating its 32nd anniversary in the country.

To mark the milestone, the company rolled out special promos through its “Honda at 32: Celebration Blowout” promo campaign. Included in the said campaign is the “City S Special Promo,” which offers the subcompact sedan with cash discounts and flexible payment schemes.
The Honda City S is available with a promo discount of as much as Php 35,000. This means that you can drive home the subcompact sedan for Php 903,000 from its Php 938,000 SRP (suggested retail price). It can also be availed of with a special low all-in downpayment of Php 10,000 or a low monthly amortization of Php 17,340.
Serving as the entry-level variant, the City S comes with features such as halogen headlamps, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), LED tail lamps, and 15-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the vehicle is equipped with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keeping passengers connected on the go.

Under the hood is a 1.5-liter inline-4 i-VTEC engine good for 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. It is connected to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which is generally considered the more fuel-efficient option. In a fuel eco test run conducted by the Automobile Association of the Philippines (AAP), the sedan managed to return 25.17 km/l on the highway.
