Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), the official business unit of Honda in the country, announced that it will no longer include the Jazz in its local lineup. The Japanese carmaker shared that the discontinuation of the model is part of the brand’s plan to stay competitive moving forward in the local market.
“The Jazz has been a remarkable nameplate in the Philippine market for around [17] years. However, as we continue to put an emphasis on meeting market demands, we have thoroughly studied the necessity of the models in our current lineup,” said HCPI president Mahasiko Nakamura.

The Honda Jazz is the brand’s entry to the local hatchback segment since 2004. Filipinos have witnessed a total of three generations of the model throughout its time competing in the country. Overall, HCPI has managed to sell over 25,000 Jazz units to date.
“After careful consideration, we would like to formally announce the discontinuation of Jazz and all its variants, in order for us to shift our focus and resources to our current and upcoming models,” Nakamura added.
The Honda Jazz without the RS badge
Despite its discontinuation, HCPI announced that the Honda Jazz will remain to be available in Honda Cars dealerships until supplies last. The Honda hatchback starts at Php 868,000 for the base 1.5 MT variant and goes up to Php 1,090,000 for the sportier-looking top-trim RS Navi 1.5 CVT variant.
To help ease up payments, the Japanese carmaker has rolled out the “Deals Made Easy” promo which includes flexible payment schemes for the 2021 Honda Jazz 1.5 VX Navi CVT variant. A low downpayment of Php 47,000 is offered, as well as a cash discount of Php 20,000. Of note, the said promo will run until April 30, 2021.
