This piece of news comes from Honda Thailand itself through a press release. A few tidbits of information regarding the upcoming crossover SUV model were mentioned as well.
Being a teaser, not many details were shared by Honda Thailand. It was highlighted however, that this new model will be dropping the 1.6-liter i-DTEC diesel engine and the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter gasoline engine that the outgoing model uses.
Replacing the old powertrains are two new ones. The first one is a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, while the other is a 2.0-liter hybrid engine paired with two electric motors.
The exact output figures for these engines were not shared by Honda Thailand as of this writing. But note that the US version that was launched back in 2022 came with the same engine options. To put things in perspective, the US-spec 2023 Honda CR-V with a 1.5-liter turbo can yield up to 190 hp and 243 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 2.0-liter hybrid can produce up to 204 hp and 335 Nm of torque.
Reports also stated that the all-new Honda CR-V bound for Thailand could get an all-wheel-drive. This is most likely true due to the hint shown in the CR-V's rear photo. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter turbo gasoline version is said to most likely come with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), while the hybrid engine could use an electronic CVT (e-EVT). Do take note that Honda Thailand has yet to release the official powertrain details of the all-new 2023 CR-V.

For other bits that could come standard on the 2023 CR-V 2.0 Turbo, reports from Thailand are indicating that it could come standard with a dual exhaust setup, 18-inch wheels, and the Honda Sensing Safety Suite.
The reports are likewise saying that the upcoming 2.0-liter hybrid is also getting the Honda Sensing Safety Suite. But then again, it is said to feature a fancier exterior with its 19-inch wheels, LED exterior lighting, gloss black front grille, and RS badging.
Moreover, it’s noticeable that the all-new CR-V that’s about to be launched in Thailand has a slightly different front bumper. This is in comparison with the one that debuted for the US market.
