It looks like fuel isn’t alone in price hikes these days as Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) recently updated the pricing of its model lineup.
Honda Brio
Most of the models in the range received a price bump, with the Honda Brio V 1.2 CVT getting the biggest increase by Php 81,000. But not all price tags were raised significantly as the BR-V S 1.5 CVT only got a Php 10,000 increase. See the list below of the Honda vehicles covered by the price update:

The Honda Accord and Civic Type R retained their pricing at Php 2,350,000 and Php 3,210,000, respectively. Meanwhile, the all-new Honda HR-V also keeps its introductory prices that range from Php 1,250,000 for the base S CVT Honda Sensing to Php 1,598,000 for the top-spec V Turbo CVT Honda Sensing.

Honda City
No official statement was released by HCPI about the update as the company only made the changes on its official website. But the decision to move forward in the local market with higher price tags is expected, influenced by the soaring fuel prices and the challenges posed by the pandemic.
