Geely Auto International has announced that it has sold 800,000 units of the Coolray since its initial release in 2018. This covers over 40 countries in regions like the Americas, Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe, and Asia Pacific.

From January 2023 to December 2023 alone, Market Sales Data shared that the brand sold 63,000 Coolray units around the world. This was enough for Geely to declare that the Coolray has become one of the brand’s best-selling models in its current line of vehicles.
An uptick in sales for the Coolray was also observed in different regions. Geely International says that it saw an 18.8 percent increase in sales in Saudi Arabia compared to last year. A massive 190 percent year-on-year increase in sales in Eastern Europe was also reported.
The Geely Coolray likewise saw launch events in a variety of markets like Chile, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Paraguay, Ecuador, and Mexico. As per the brand, the model was well-received by the media from the aforementioned countries.
For those wanting to get behind the wheel of a Geely Coolray, note that it is available in the Philippines as the Coolray SE. It has three available variants: Comfort, Premium, and Sport, with a price ranging from Php 1,083,000 to Php 1,299,000.

Propelling the Philippine-spec Coolray is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that can generate up to 172 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. Power is sent to its front wheels via a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission.
On the outside, this Geely model sports an eye-catching design that’s wrapped up by a set of 17-inch or 18-inch wheels. It also gets LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, a rear spoiler, and a panoramic sunroof, among other features.
Its interior meanwhile, is filled with soft-touch surfaces and leather seats. Higher-spec trims are provided with a single-zone automatic climate control system, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, active park assist, blind-spot detection, and many other amenities.
