Ford Philippines has officially expanded the availability of the Explorer crossover SUV in the Philippines. It can now be bought from all Ford dealerships nationwide, plus, buyers can also make orders for the model via the brand’s website.

On top of making it more accessible to buyers nationwide, Ford is also making the Explorer ownership experience more convenient. Starting this month (January 2024), each purchase of the model in question comes together with Ford’s “Peace of Mind and Free Labor” package.
The package mentioned above includes a complimentary vehicle inspection service after two months or 2,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. It likewise includes two instances of free labor on periodic maintenance schedule service sessions.
The Ford Explorer’s sole variant in the Philippine market is the EcoBoost Limited 4x4 AT. It is priced at Php 3,498,000 and it is touted by the brand as a versatile seven-seater mid-sized crossover SUV model with all-weather and all-terrain capability. This is thanks to its 4x4 drivetrain, 10-speed automatic transmission, and its peppy 2.3-liter engine that can generate 300 hp and 420 Nm of torque.
It also gets a terrain management system with seven drive modes. It gets the usual ones, namely normal, eco, and sport. But besides the three, it also has a drive mode for sand, for dealing with off-road trails, and one for towing and hauling.

Likewise notable on the Explorer is its plush interior that’s equipped with ventilated and heated front-row seats, a twin-panel moonroof, ambient lighting, and a triple-zone automatic climate control system, among others.
Its cabin is also designed to be quiet thanks to its acoustic windshield, as well as a dual-wall dashboard which serves as a shield in-between the passenger cabin and engine bay.
Last but not least is the Explorer’s wide array of safety features provided by the Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist Plus Technology suite. This includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, and adaptive cruise control, among others.
